I know the basics about meshing, refine the mesh until some metric changes to within a certain tolerance. However I have some questions regarding some more complicated (at least they are to me) features.
1. If my model has more than 1 variable of interest (lets say temperature, concentration, velocity, etc), do I do a mesh refinement study on each variable until every variable I am interested is within my margin of difference?
2. When I have more than 1 domain, do I do a mesh refinement study on each domain separately (a variable of interest on each domain)?
If anyone has answers to these questions or some type of reference that has a procedure/algorithm for meshing any general model/physics, it would be greatly appreciated.
